I’m New

What Should I Expect When I Visit?

At Resurrection, we feel it's OUR responsibility to "tear down walls and build bridges".  We want you to experience inspiring music, encouraging messages, sound biblical teaching, and friendly people – resulting in an enjoyable Spirit-filled worship experience.

Here is a quick look at what you can expect from your visit and experience with us.

Attire:  We’re concerned about your real life needs, not what you wear.  We want you feel comfortable, but you're welcomed to dress casual on any Sunday you choose.  So, pick the Sunday that you want to dress "churchy" or "casual", and you'll fit right in.

Arrival:  Making your first visit to RBC easy, starts when you drive onto the RBC campus.  As a first-time guest, just blink your lights or tell one of our friendly parking attendants you're a first-time visitor and they will quickly guide you into a special guest parking lot.

Assistance:  The first face you see (parking attendant) will have a smile on it.  Whether you're in need of safe childcare or are looking for an exciting place for your teens, a helpful Greeter or Guest Services staff will be nearby to help direct you to the right venue.

Acknowledgement:  During service, we will not ask you to introduce yourself.  However, we will welcome you and ask that you identify yourself (by raising your hand).  We do this to thank you for attending and ensure that you receive a Welcome Packet.

Music:  Be prepared to enjoy a blend of contemporary and traditional gospel music.  With various talented choirs, exceptional musicians, and a praise team focused on ushering in the Spirit of God, you won't be disappointed in the music selections.

Message:  No matter which Sunday you attend you will always receive an “A” message from Pastor Brown.  Each message is prayerfully prepared and passionately delivered.  Biblical truths are presented in an easy to grasp format and often with humor to help deal with daily real-life issues.  Whether you attend the first or second worship service, the message is designed to carry you through your entire week.

Ministries:  With more than 50 ministries on operation at RBC, we're confident that we have one that's suited to meet the needs of you and your family.  If you're interested in viewing some of our ministries, click Connect with RBC Ministries for brief descriptions.

Memorable:  We know how it feels to visit a new church, for the first time.  We genuinely want your experience at RBC to be enjoyable and memorable.  Therefore, we hope that getting some of this "stuff" out of the way now, will encourage you to come join us this Sunday.  We earnestly desire that you and your family may receive the full hope and encouragement that God has for you.

Additional notes:  Our worship services begin promptly at 7:45am and 10:45am, so be sure to arrive a bit early to get your choice of seating in the Worship Center.  However, if you're running late, don't worry we'll still have a great seat for you in our video venue.

Also, if you have an infant that you prefer to keep with you during the worship service, we have a convenient "nursing mother" and "Cry Room" area where you can care for your little ones and still enjoy the worship experience.

If you have questions that we have not answered here, please call the RBC office at 210.658.0459 or email us admin@myRBConline.com.

We look forward to seeing you this Sunday.
