WHY WE TITHE?
The word, “tithe” literally means tenth or ten percent. A tithe is the first 10% of your income.
An offering is anything you give above and beyond the 10% tithe.
In Malachi 3:10, God says this: “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” This is the only place in Scripture where God tells us to put him to the test.
In other words, He’s saying, “Go ahead. I dare you. See if you can out-give me.”

ONLINE GIVING FAQ
Online giving is the ability to give a one-time donation or schedule recurring donations by using your savings or checking account, debit or credit card.
Yes. Pushpay is PCI compliant and encrypted to ensure our security standards exceed compliance standards.
Yes. As long as it’s a MasterCard or Visa.
No. You will not pay any fees with an online gift. In addition, online gifts are a more cost efficient way for the church to process donations.
Yes. The system allows you choose from 4 different giving options.
For recurring gifts, you have the option of giving once or twice a month.
Depending on which is more feasible for your situation, you can handle tithing with a fluctuating income in a couple of different ways. Some people choose to give exactly one-tenth of their earnings for each individual pay-period. Others estimate their total earnings for the year and give a portion of the total tithe each week or month throughout the year.
Yes. You can change or cancel your contribution at any time before the date of your next contribution. Simply log in to the system using your user name and password and make the necessary changes in the system. (Please keep in mind that, per IRS regulations, once a gift has been made to the church it cannot be refunded.)
Yes: The church will continue to send contribution statements to your address on file for tax purposes.
Contributions will be taken from your specified bank account within 48 business hours of the date you requested. This time frame allows time for the contribution to process through your bank and the church’s bank. If the date of your contribution falls on a weekend or a holiday, the transaction will be initiated on the next banking day.
Immediately after setting up your contribution, you will receive an e-mail.
